About

We feel the bile rising. The reoccurrences of crises should have created opportunities for us to significantly question and update our systems and habits of mind. Yet, we spawn and repeat the same mistakes many times over. Perhaps thriving from systemic exploitation never seem quite critical when personal gains are so disconnected from their roots and ramifications.

Through decades of greed, exponential growth and ignorance garnished by prime conveniences centred around the cult of self, we have manufactured a mind-numbing vision of happiness. Every solution that we conceive under the auspices of progress and innovation seem to be inherently corrupted by our insolent appetite for destruction and hubristic production catered to artificial wants. The full monty is being served to a handful of us who rot in superfluous plenty while others play catch-up unable to pick up any sense of urgency from flourishing cow farts and gushing landfills.

Farce & Attrape believes that understanding the sadly foolish farce we partake in can provoke some degree of reflection. It is not a priggish rant or a celebration of negativity. It is rather a commemoration of the insidious efforts that make us delusional pawns worshipping grotesque fantasies where polarised ignorance, hate and consumption dismally triumph so very often. Farce is a brand. Farce is a company. Farce is nausea. Farce is a reminder. Farce is art. Farce is an ontology. Farce is a joke.
